When we were choosing our first dance music we were choosing between 'fly me to the moon' and 'stand by me'. We love both songs but we decided to go for the former because it's easier to dance with. So when the band played 'stand by me' as their last song we were thrilled and felt our night was complete!

We selected dukes of havoc to play at our weeding at cooling castle barn in Kent.

Immediately after first getting in touch we were pleased, there correspondence was prompt, clear and friendly. They were familiar with the venue and put us at ease as the venue does have certain restrictions and limitations for live performances.

When they arrived at the venue on the night, they were quick to set up, and were ready in planets of time before their scheduled start.

We gave them a fairly extensive short list of song preferences and they performed the vast majority of them throughout the night. Their performance was excellent, showing a rappor with the crowd, and choosing the right songs at the right times.

In all, they were very good value for money and provided an excellent performance.

Well we have now been married for 3 weeks and I just thought I would write to you to thank you for a simply fantastic night of music at Ashdown Park in Sussex.

Before the wedding you were thoroughly professional. Once our booking was made I was happy that I was dealing with a group who knew what they were doing.

The night itself was just wonderful. You and the band delivered everything we could have ever hoped for and then some.

When the first dance was over and the band fired up we knew we were in for a treat, I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty.

Before the wedding Nicola and I had decided to only ask for a small selection of songs to be played and we would leave the rest to you to read the crowd. What a great decision that was, the song choices were inspired and on countless occasions throughout the night we physically could not get any more people on the dance floor.The music played ranged from classics to modern greats, all performed perfectly.

The band members were nothing but polite and professional and were a pleasure to have performing at our wedding.

Up to the moment the band arrived the day had been flawless, and i am pleased to say that it continued in the same fashion. Not even 15 minutes into your first set and I had people coming up to me asking me where I had found the fantastic band. The comments continued throughout the night and into the following days. I only hope my brother and I did not ruin Suspicious Minds with our slightly less than falsetto backing vocals.

Thank you once again to you and the Dukes of Havoc for making a special day simply perfect. I only hope you enjoyed yourself half as much as the crowd did.

Now some 3 weeks on our gusts are still contacting us and raving about the simply incredible band that the Dukes of Havoc are.

I could not recommend the Dukes of Havocs highly enough and if you are thinking about booking them for your event, just do it.

I have now 2 experiences of hearing The Dukes of Havoc, the first time at a school Ball and most recently I hired them for a private 50th party. On both occasions they have been outstanding. They work really well together as a band and the lead singer is amazing. They have a real knack of playing all the music you know but have forgotten about - they mix up old and new but everything feels right on trend. The dance floor was full all evening at both events and everyone was disappointed when they had finished - so I would recommend discussing with them exactly how long they are going to play and what options you have for 'a little bit extra'. They come dressed casual so if you want them in something different you need to tell them up front. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them.
